1. Unique Triangular Design for Maximum Filtration Area

The tri-lobed cross-section creates three extended pleat wings, effectively increasing the total filtration surface area within a given housing diameter. In many applications, a single triangular cartridge can replace multiple standard round cartridges, delivering comparable or better filtration performance while occupying less space.

2. Higher Dust-Holding Capacity & Lower Pressure Drop

The expanded media area means more room for dust accumulation before cleaning is required. This translates into longer service intervals, reduced frequency of pulse-jet cleaning cycles, lower compressed-air consumption and consistently lower pressure drop across the filter — all of which contribute to lower operating costs and extended cartridge life.

3. Efficient Pulse-Jet Cleaning

The triangular geometry promotes effective dust release during pulse-jet cleaning. The three flat pleat faces allow compressed-air shockwaves to dislodge accumulated dust more evenly than tightly packed round pleats, reducing the risk of dust bridging and maintaining stable airflow over the cartridge's service life.
